- Doug Embody, who was appointed Cut Bank's mayor when Joni Stewart left office early, launched a successful write-in campaign for re-election. With 784 votes, Embody beat J.W. Eaton Jr. , who had 86 votes, and Tom Shock, who had 117 votes, both of whom was on the ballot. Four candidates vyed for two four-year seats on the council. William "Bill" McCauley (593 votes,) and Timothy Curtiss (559 votes) were elected to four-year terms. Tyson Lee Michaels and James L. Childress had 437 votes and 83 votes respectively. Kelly Solberg, who was appointed to the council, received 818 votes to serve out the remaining two years of the four-year term. - Because it runs a poll election rather than an all mail ballot, Browning votes still have not yet been tallied. Two candidates are vying for Browning mayor - William S. Morris Jr. and Lockley Joseph Bremner. Steve Barcus and Demerle J. Fitzpatrick are running for two four-year seats on the town council and Kevin Vaile is running for the remaining two years of an unexpired term as alderman.
